[Paraguay] Villeta Project

The Villeta project is considered the first large-scale green fertilizer plant of its kind in the world, using 100% renewable energy, mainly hydroelectric power from the Itaipu power plant, and advanced technologies to produce green hydrogen from renewable electricity, which is then combined with nitrogen from the air to make ammonia and environmentally friendly fertilizers such as calcium ammonium nitrate (CAN) with zero net carbon emissions.
